Twilight the Movie
am-:
I read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it but nothing prepared me for the sheer awfulness of this film.
Robert Pattinson was a nice enough looking chap when he wasn’t overacting the grinding of teeth and overblown anguished look and trying to look tortured and sexy and failing miserably…And who designed his wardrobe? Does any self respecting teen wear clothes like that?
Dr Cullen – no-one would have given him a job in a hospital. He had so much white paint on his face he looked like he belonged in the mortuary. The first time he walked on camera I laughed.
And the chap who played Jacob? Oh dear…just oh dear. I do hope that was a wig.
Special effects? Edward climbing trees just looked like a monkey.
This was a truly bad experience.
I’m sure I wasn’t the audience it was aimed at and maybe it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously but it didn’t do the book justice.
My boys read the books, and I watched this with the family Sunday night. All I could think was The book HAD to be better. Ugh, this movie was AWFUL. Really, what was Edward and Bella’s love about? This had to be explained in the book, but the movie = HUGE FAIL. Blech.
Thank you, Ax, for feeling the same way about this movie!
Will not be seeing that movie. Thanks ladies.
I enjoyed the books. But I don’t think I can take the movie.
i thought it was awful but i enjoyed it anyway
I enjoyed in completely. It was SOOOO bad. I did the same thing Ax- when Carlyle walked into the ER I choked on my Mr Pibb
Never read the books, never seen the movie, but I think I might have to now.
Vampires are….enjoyable. You know, in that daydream fantasy sort of way.
